DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and customize domestic and international tour packages based on client preferences and budgets.
  • Prepare detailed itineraries, costing, quotations, and travel documentation for individual and group bookings.
  • Provide expert advice and information on travel destinations, routes, accommodation, local customs, weather, and activities.
  • Handle reservations and bookings for flights, hotels, transportation, excursions, and other travel-related services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, DMCs (Destination Management Companies), and other travel suppliers for preferential rates and exclusive deals.
  • Resolve client complaints and handle emergencies and travel disruptions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure proper documentation such as travel insurance, visas, and tickets are issued and delivered in good time.
  • Manage incoming travel inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Monitor industry trends, seasonal travel patterns, and competitor offerings to provide competitive and attractive packages.
  • Maintain accurate client records and transaction history using the company’s CRM or booking software.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and deliver consistent customer satisfaction scores.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Degree in Tourism Management, Travel Operations, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in a busy Tours & Travel company handling both inbound and outbound travel services
  • Proficient in tour planning, itinerary creation, and travel logistics
  • Solid understanding of GDS/CRS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) and online booking engines
  • Strong negotiation skills with hotels, airlines, and other travel service providers
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
