DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation and Business Development:
- Actively prospect new clients by researching and identifying potential leads in the moving industry, including both individuals and corporate clients.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, and networking.
- Engage with potential clients to introduce the company’s moving services and demonstrate their value to clients' logistics needs.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any queries, concerns, or issues related to moving services.
- Provide clients with updates on their moving status, follow up after service delivery, and ensure all needs are met.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
- Conduct professional sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company’s services and tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
- Negotiate service contracts, terms, and prices with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring profitability for the company.
- Develop customized quotes for clients based on specific moving requirements, volume, and any special needs (e.g., fragile items, timing).
Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by management, ensuring the achievement of company revenue goals.
- Track individual sales progress and report regularly to the sales manager or leadership team on achievements, challenges, and strategies to meet targets.
- Focus on both new client acquisition and retention, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
- Identify and target new market segments and emerging customer needs to expand business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor pricing and services to adjust sales strategies accordingly and ensure the company remains competitive.
Customer Needs Assessment:
- Assess client needs thoroughly, including the size, scope, and complexity of the move, to offer the most appropriate solutions.
- Recommend additional services, such as packing, temporary storage, or specialized transportation, based on customer requirements.
- Work with the operations team to ensure client expectations are aligned with operational capabilities.
Sales Administration and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and status of leads using CRM software.
- Generate and submit sales reports regularly, providing insights into sales performance, customer feedback, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure all contracts and agreements are properly documented, signed, and processed in a timely manner.
Collaboration with Operations Team:
- Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure the seamless execution of client moves, ensuring that all requirements are met and that the service is delivered on time.
- Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the move, working to ensure a smooth process and customer satisfaction.
Post-Sales Support:
- Follow up with clients post-move to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and address any concerns that may arise after the service is provided.
- Utilize client feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance future customer experiences.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, preferably within a moving company.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated with a drive to achieve sales goals.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
