DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow and manage sales volumes within assigned territory in line with regional targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across retail, wholesale, horeca, and fast food channels.
- Identify and recruit new customers and route opportunities to optimize market coverage.
- Coordinate and monitor local activations and trade marketing initiatives in collaboration with marketing.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and trade dynamics.
- Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies and terms.
- Collaborate with distribution partners to streamline delivery and product availability.
- Regularly submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management.
- Support rollout of new product lines, promotions, and campaigns in the field.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in FMCG or meat processing sectors.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the respective region (Nyeri or Eldoret), with established local networks.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and expanding customer base.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
