DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales of Solar Products and Solutions

  • Actively market and sell a range of solar products including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and complete solar systems to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
  • Explain product features, benefits, and technical specifications clearly to both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Customize product recommendations based on client needs, site assessments, and budget.

Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through field visits, cold calls, online platforms, referrals, and industry events.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of potential clients and follow up consistently to move prospects through the sales funnel.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and feedback with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Provide excellent after-sales service to ensure long-term client satisfaction.

Sales Presentations and Product Demonstrations

  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Conduct site visits and technical assessments in collaboration with the technical team to understand energy requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.

Achievement of Sales Targets and KPIs

  • Consistently meet or exceed individual monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
  • Track and analyze personal performance metrics, reporting regularly on progress and opportunities for improvement.

Market and Product Knowledge

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector.
  • Share market intelligence with the team to refine strategy and enhance competitiveness.

Reporting and Feedback

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
  • Provide feedback from the market to help improve product offerings, marketing strategies, and customer service.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in solar, machinery, or renewable energy sectors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach
