DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Identify new business opportunities by researching and targeting potential clients in the IT industry. Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company sales goals and ensure steady business growth.
- Client Acquisition: Proactively reach out to prospective clients through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to expand the customer base for IT products and solutions.
- Product Knowledge and Presentation: Maintain deep knowledge of the company’s IT products and services. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to the needs of clients, providing them with solutions that best fit their business requirements.
- Sales Negotiation and Closing: Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively. Ensure the terms of agreements are clearly understood and agreed upon by both the company and the client.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Offer ongoing support to customers and address any issues that may arise.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Track personal and team performance using sales KPIs and report on achievements.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about the latest trends in the IT industry, monitor competitor activities, and suggest improvements or changes to marketing and sales strategies.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the marketing, technical, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product delivery and customer satisfaction. Provide feedback to these teams to improve product offerings and customer experiences.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals in the CRM system. Submit regular reports to management on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline status.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, particularly in the IT industry. Experience in selling IT hardware, software, and solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of IT products and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex IT products, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
- A customer-centric approach with a keen focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
