JOB SUMMARY

The Salesperson will be responsible for generating sales of melamine tableware and crockery by actively engaging with customers, building relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The candidate will use their industry expertise to promote the company's products, identify customer needs, and provide tailored solutions.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hospitality & tourism,

corporate and educational institution markets.

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Ensure consistent growth in sales revenue.
  • Ability to work with new retailers for new product listing.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Market Research and Reporting:

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and

  • Collect feedback from customers to help improve product offerings and services.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.

Product Knowledge and Representation:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, including their features,

benefits, and applications.

  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows, exhibitions, and other events

if and when required

 

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer contacts, and other relevant
  •  
  • Follow-up on outstanding customer payments.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to sales and operations.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales to hospitality, tourism and educational

institutions is mandatory.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong network of contacts within the industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive selling abilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to create reports
  • Valid driver’s license is a plus
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated sales territory (to be defined

    separately).
