DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Warmly welcome all walk-in customers and offer assistance based on their preferences and needs.
  • Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide tailored styling advice and outfit suggestions based on customer body types, preferences, and occasions.
  • Educate customers about new arrivals, promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs.

Product Knowledge & Merchandising

  • Maintain deep knowledge of all in-store products including materials, fits, pricing, and brand story.
  • Keep displays attractive, clean, and aligned with brand merchandising guidelines.
  • Monitor fast- and slow-moving products and provide feedback to the store manager.

Sales Performance

  • Actively contribute to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly store sales targets.
  • Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to increase basket size and add-on purchases.
  • Support marketing campaigns by promoting store offers and encouraging customer participation.

Point of Sale (POS) Operations

  • Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system (cash, mobile payments, card).
  • Ensure correct tagging and pricing of all products.
  • Handle returns and exchanges in line with company policy, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.

Stock & Inventory Support

  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and arranging new stock deliveries.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts and assist in stock reconciliation.
  • Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor promptly.

Store Maintenance & Cleanliness

  • Ensure the store floor, fitting rooms, and displays remain neat and presentable throughout the day.
  • Follow opening and closing checklists to maintain operational readiness.

Customer Feedback & Relationship Management

  • Collect and relay customer feedback to management for continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong customer relationships to promote customer loyalty and repeat visits.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field
  • At least 1–2 years of experience working in a fashion outlet or retail store
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Flexible to work weekends and holidays when required
