DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Warmly welcome all walk-in customers and offer assistance based on their preferences and needs.
- Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Provide tailored styling advice and outfit suggestions based on customer body types, preferences, and occasions.
- Educate customers about new arrivals, promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs.
Product Knowledge & Merchandising
- Maintain deep knowledge of all in-store products including materials, fits, pricing, and brand story.
- Keep displays attractive, clean, and aligned with brand merchandising guidelines.
- Monitor fast- and slow-moving products and provide feedback to the store manager.
Sales Performance
- Actively contribute to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly store sales targets.
- Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to increase basket size and add-on purchases.
- Support marketing campaigns by promoting store offers and encouraging customer participation.
Point of Sale (POS) Operations
- Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system (cash, mobile payments, card).
- Ensure correct tagging and pricing of all products.
- Handle returns and exchanges in line with company policy, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
Stock & Inventory Support
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and arranging new stock deliveries.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and assist in stock reconciliation.
- Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor promptly.
Store Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Ensure the store floor, fitting rooms, and displays remain neat and presentable throughout the day.
- Follow opening and closing checklists to maintain operational readiness.
Customer Feedback & Relationship Management
- Collect and relay customer feedback to management for continuous improvement.
- Foster strong customer relationships to promote customer loyalty and repeat visits.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field
- At least 1–2 years of experience working in a fashion outlet or retail store
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays when required
