DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Engagement & Consultation

  • Welcome customers warmly and create a friendly, professional environment.
  • Initiate conversations to understand the customer’s skincare needs, preferences, and concerns.
  • Offer tailored product recommendations based on a skin analysis or conversation.
  • Educate customers on the correct use of skincare products and suggest complete skincare routines.

Product Knowledge & Demonstrations

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all skincare products in the store, including ingredients, benefits, and usage.
  • Confidently explain the features and benefits of products to encourage purchases.
  • Perform live product demonstrations and sampling when appropriate.
  • Stay informed about new product launches, industry trends, and skincare innovations (especially Korean skincare).

Sales Target Achievement

  • Meet and strive to exceed individual and team sales goals.
  • Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to increase basket size and maximize sales.
  • Track personal sales performance and work proactively to improve results.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings to review performance and set goals.

Visual Merchandising & Store Maintenance

  • Ensure the store is tidy, clean, and well-organized at all times.
  • Arrange products on shelves according to visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor stock levels on shelves and back stock, and report low inventory promptly.
  • Participate in setting up promotional displays and seasonal changes.

Customer Service & Retention

  • Handle all customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Offer solutions and follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction post-purchase.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers through excellent service and consistent communication.
  • Maintain a client book for loyal customers and inform them of new arrivals, special offers, and skincare tips.

Reporting & Administration

  • Accurately record daily sales, inventory movements, and customer feedback.
  • Assist in compiling weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Help in preparing orders for replenishment and receiving deliveries.
  • Follow company policies for cash handling and store security.

Team Collaboration & Training

  • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Participate in training sessions on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Share best practices and insights to help improve team performance.
  • Support new staff during onboarding and mentoring when needed.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Proven experience in a beauty retail environment, preferably with a focus on skincare products
  • Strong knowledge of skincare regimens, skin types, and ingredients
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse customer base
  • Strong communication and sales skills
  • Well-groomed, presentable, and passionate about beauty and skincare
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
