DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Assurance & Control:
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished sacks to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
 - Monitor and document all production processes, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
 - Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
 
Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for quality enhancement and waste reduction.
 - Participate in root cause analysis for product defects or process issues, and help implement long-term solutions.
 - Suggest modifications to production methods or materials to improve quality and efficiency.
 
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and health & safety protocols specific to sacks manufacturing.
 - Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and compliance reports.
 - Ensure timely reporting and resolution of non-conformances.
 
Health & Safety:
- Promote and adhere to workplace health and safety procedures across all manufacturing activities.
 - Participate in safety audits and risk assessments, and help implement best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
 
Training & Collaboration:
- Provide guidance to production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.
 - Support training initiatives to improve quality awareness across departments.
 - Liaise with other departments including Production, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure alignment on quality goals.
 
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Industrial Chemistry, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field
 - Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quality control role within a sacks or packaging manufacturing environment
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 - Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
 - Familiarity with manufacturing health and safety regulations
 - Good decision-making and communication skills
