DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation of Water Treatment Systems
- Conduct site inspections to assess suitability for installation.
 - Install a wide range of water treatment systems including filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, and chemical dosing systems.
 - Ensure proper system setup, calibration, and commissioning according to manufacturer and company standards.
 - Provide on-site training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of installed systems.
 
Maintenance and Servicing
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on water treatment systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
 - Diagnose technical faults or performance issues and carry out necessary repairs or part replacements.
 - Maintain accurate service logs and submit detailed reports after each maintenance visit.
 - Schedule and follow up on recurring maintenance needs as per service agreements.
 
Customer Support and Technical Assistance
- Respond promptly to client calls and service requests, providing on-site support and problem resolution.
 - Offer technical advice to customers regarding system usage, water quality, and best practices.
 - Build strong customer relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and technical competence.
 
General Maintenance Work
- Carry out general repair and maintenance work at both company facilities and client premises when required.
 - Assist with setting up company equipment for exhibitions, demonstrations, or temporary installations.
 - Support the warehouse or workshop team in technical preparation and quality control.
 
Travel and Regional Assignments
- Travel frequently across Kenya and East Africa (Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi) for installations, maintenance, or emergency support.
 - Be available for short-notice deployments, including overnight stays and extended site visits.
 - Adhere to all travel protocols and represent the company with integrity in cross-border assignments.
 
Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) during fieldwork.
 - Ensure all installations and servicing activities are compliant with environmental and regulatory standards.
 - Report any safety hazards, incidents, or accidents to management immediately.
 
Reporting and Documentation
- Complete service reports, installation checklists, customer feedback forms, and expense reports accurately and on time.
 - Maintain updated records of client visits, system histories, and spare parts usage.
 
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
 - Prior experience in field service or technical maintenance preferred
 - Valid Driving Licence is mandatory, with a strong and proven driving record
 - Hands-on technical skills and troubleshooting ability
 - Good communication and customer service orientation
 - Ability to work independently and under pressure
 - Willingness to travel extensively and on short notice within Kenya and the East African region
