DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans based on the hospital’s needs and operational requirements.
 - Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and maintain strong relationships.
 - Purchasing: Execute the purchasing process, including issuing purchase orders, following up on deliveries, and ensuring that supplies are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
 - Inventory Management: Ensure proper inventory control by maintaining accurate records of all supplies and equipment, and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess.
 - Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with hospital policies, relevant regulations, and industry standards. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for auditing purposes.
 - Budget Control: Monitor procurement budgets and assist in cost analysis and reporting, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
 - ERP System Management: Utilize the ERP system for procurement processes, ensuring accurate data entry, tracking, and reporting of purchases.
 - Collaboration: Work closely with various hospital departments, including finance, administration, and clinical units, to ensure that procurement activities meet the hospital's needs efficiently.
 
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, Business Administration, or a related field
 - 3 years’ experience in a similar procurement role, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting
 - Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
 - Knowledge and experience with ERP systems and procurement software
 - Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
