DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Export Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare and review export documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
- Ensure all exports comply with international trade regulations, export laws, and company policies.
- Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance of goods through customs.
Logistics Management:
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays or issues with delivery schedules.
- Optimize freight costs and shipping routes for cost-effective delivery solutions.
Customer Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients regarding their orders, shipment status, and inquiries.
- Provide customers with regular updates on order status, shipment tracking, and any issues that may arise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales Support:
- Assist the export sales team in order processing, preparing quotes, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with the sales department to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide input on potential sales opportunities in international markets.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure products are available for export orders.
- Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure export orders are prepared on time.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on export performance, shipment status, and any issues or delays.
- Provide analysis on export trends, customer feedback, and logistical efficiencies to improve future export operations.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in export sales, export administration, or a similar role within the FMCG or manufacturing sector
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics in the FMCG or manufacturing industries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams, clients, and international partners
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in documentation and regulatory compliance
