DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to hospital staff, addressing IT-related issues and inquiries promptly.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal downtime of hospital systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networking equipment.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining hospital-specific applications, ensuring their functionality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Perform routine system checks and updates to ensure network and system security.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve system efficiency.
  • Maintain records of IT support tickets, system maintenance logs, and inventory of IT equipment.
  • Provide training and guidance to hospital staff on the use of IT systems and software.
  • Ensure that all IT systems comply with healthcare industry standards and security protocols.
  • Assist in data backup, disaster recovery, and system restore processes as needed.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in IT support within a hospital or healthcare environment
  • Strong knowledge of hospital IT systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Management Systems (PMS).
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, network administration, and server management.
  • Familiarity with data security standards and compliance regulations in healthcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
