DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day-to-day technical support to hospital staff, addressing IT-related issues and inquiries promptly.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal downtime of hospital systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networking equipment.
- Assist in managing and maintaining hospital-specific applications, ensuring their functionality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Perform routine system checks and updates to ensure network and system security.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve system efficiency.
- Maintain records of IT support tickets, system maintenance logs, and inventory of IT equipment.
- Provide training and guidance to hospital staff on the use of IT systems and software.
- Ensure that all IT systems comply with healthcare industry standards and security protocols.
- Assist in data backup, disaster recovery, and system restore processes as needed.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in IT support within a hospital or healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of hospital IT systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Management Systems (PMS).
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, network administration, and server management.
- Familiarity with data security standards and compliance regulations in healthcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
