DRIVER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations as per the delivery schedule
• Load and unload items carefully, ensuring they are delivered in excellent condition
• Plan efficient routes and adjust based on traffic, weather, or other delays
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or issues
• Maintain up-to-date delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption reports
• Assist in the coordination of delivery schedules with the logistics or warehouse team
• Ensure proper documentation is obtained and signed off at delivery and collection points
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures
• Uphold high levels of integrity, professionalism, and customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Valid driving license with a clean record-BCE
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a commercial or company driver
• Previous experience working in a retail, supermarket, or construction material delivery environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with routes in and around Mlolongo and the greater Nairobi area
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage
