DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Development
- Identify and target potential clients, including consultants, contractors, and project managers in the construction sector.
- Utilize various strategies such as cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to generate leads.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Meet with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements for construction materials.
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally to maintain strong relationships.
Market Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis.
- Prepare regular reports on market conditions, competitor activities, and sales performance to inform strategic decisions.
Product Knowledge
- Continuously update knowledge on product specifications, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with clients.
- Organize and conduct product demonstrations for clients to showcase the value of our offerings.
Proposal Preparation
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on client needs and specifications.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations that highlight the benefits of our products and services.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment on sales initiatives.
- Provide feedback from clients to product development and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
Reporting and Administration
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status in CRM software.
- Track personal sales performance against targets and report to management regularly.
Networking
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and develop industry contacts.
- Engage in continuous learning and networking to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, particularly in the construction materials sector.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
