DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in Architectural Design Development: Collaborate with lead architects to develop initial design concepts and translate ideas into clear architectural plans and drawings, ensuring alignment with client briefs and project requirements.
- 3D Modeling and Rendering: Create high-quality 3D models and visualizations using tools like ArchiCAD, Revit, Lumion, Twinmotion, and SketchUp to communicate design intent and bring architectural concepts to life for presentations and approvals.
- Drafting and Technical Drawing Preparation: Produce detailed architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details in compliance with building codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Preparation of Presentation Materials: Develop compelling visual presentations, mood boards, and diagrams for client meetings and design reviews, showcasing the creative and functional aspects of architectural designs.
- Site Visits and Project Documentation: Participate in regular site visits to gather data, track progress, and ensure designs are being implemented accurately; assist in preparing reports, minutes, and photographic records.
- Project Coordination Support: Assist in coordinating with structural engineers, quantity surveyors, MEP consultants, and contractors to integrate multi-disciplinary input into cohesive designs.
- Material Research and Specification: Support in researching and recommending materials, finishes, and fittings appropriate for the project context, aesthetics, and budget.
- Design Revisions and Updates: Make timely updates and revisions to drawings and models based on feedback from senior architects, consultants, and clients, ensuring accuracy and version control.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure designs adhere to relevant building regulations, codes, local authority guidelines, and sustainability standards.
- File and Resource Management: Organize and maintain project files, reference materials, CAD libraries, and digital assets for efficient retrieval and team collaboration.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Architecture from a recognized institution
- 2–3 years of proven experience working in an architectural firm
- Proficient in ArchiCAD, Revit, Lumion, Twinmotion, SketchUp, and other relevant design software
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous architectural projects and renderings
- Excellent ability to produce high-quality 3D renderings and visual presentations
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing and construction methods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good communication and teamwork skills
