DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, initiating collections as necessary.
  • Implement effective debt collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and resolve payment issues.
  • Conduct regular reviews of aging reports and develop action plans for overdue accounts.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts receivables reports, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements as required.
  • Lead and mentor junior accounts receivables staff, providing training and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes related to credit management and receivables.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss account status and strategy for improving cash flow.
  • Utilize TALLY software to manage and track accounts receivables efficiently.
  • Stay updated on software enhancements and assist in training team members on new features.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivables, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in TALLY software; strong Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
  • Proven track record in effective debt recovery and relationship management with customers.
  • Ability to lead a team, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
