DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general accounting duties including but not limited to journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Use QuickBooks to process invoices, payments, and financial data entry.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare and track financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate filing and documentation of all financial records.
- Assist with the preparation of tax filings and audits as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Provide assistance in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Assist in any ad-hoc finance-related tasks and reporting as required by management.
- Contribute ideas to improve accounting systems and processes to ensure better financial management.
- Assist in financial planning and analysis, and provide recommendations for cost control measures.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software.
- Good understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
