JOB SUMMARY
Our Client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar ESS Channel Sales Representative to drive sales and expand our Solar Energy Storage System (ESS) product line through channel partners, distributors, and resellers. The ideal candidate will have experience in renewable energy sales, a strong network in the solar industry, and the ability to develop and manage relationships with partners to achieve business growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Channel Development & Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners, distributors, and installers for Solar
- ESS solutions.
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies to meet regional and national sales
- Conduct partner training, support, and performance reviews.
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve and exceed sales quotas through channel partnerships.
- Drive demand generation initiatives, including joint marketing efforts with partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide insights for strategy adjustments.
Technical & Product Support
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical guidance and product support
- to partners.
- Educate channel partners on Solar ESS product features, applications, and benefits.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure customer needs are met.
Negotiation & Contract Management
- Manage partner agreements, pricing structures, and incentive programs.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure mutual profitability.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Over 3years of direct sales in solar, energy storage or renewable energy industry.
- Experience with lithium-ion batteries, hybrid inverters and Battery management systems would be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, battery storage, and grid-tied/off-grid
applications.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with channel partners
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel as required (regional or national)
