DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure timely appraisal of loan applications received by confirming the accuracy of required documentation and compliance with the Credit Policy.  
  • Giving professional, timely, accurate, and efficient feedback to Members on processes and requirements on pending loan applications.  
  • Providing financial advisory services and education to members on available products and services. Dealing with inquiries from members on phone, emails, and walk-ins.
  • Providing quality services in line with existing policies and service level agreements.
  • Proactively managing risk/exposure for assigned portfolio continuously.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree/ Diploma in Commerce, cooperative management or CPA
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar position in a sacco
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Planning and Organizing/Work Management Skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-driven and self-motivated.
