JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Sales:

  • Drive new business acquisition, with a focus on warehousing, clearing and forwarding, and CFS solutions.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company’s client base and market presence.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to negotiation and closing of deals.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.

Market Analysis:

  • Analyze the competitive landscape and market trends to identify potential opportunities for business growth.
  • Monitor competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and market conditions to maintain a competitive edge.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Prepare regular sales reports, performance analysis, and forecasts for management.
  • Monitor and report on key sales metrics to track the progress of targets.

 

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the operations, marketing, and logistics teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
  • Provide feedback and insights to help improve service offerings and customer experience.

Contract Negotiations:

  • Lead contract negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure that all contracts comply with company policies and regulations.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, and Marketing within the logistics industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a competitive market
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and freight forwarding
  • Ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
