DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Administration:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient HR processes and practices, maintaining compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and complaints, providing effective resolutions.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and foster positive employee relations across the organization.

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Manage recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of candidates for various positions.
  • Ensure new hires have an effective onboarding experience and provide necessary training and resources.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee performance appraisal processes, helping managers set goals and providing feedback.
  • Support the development and implementation of employee development programs.

Compliance and Policies:

  • Monitor adherence to employment legislation and best practices.
  • Update and enforce HR policies to ensure a fair and compliant work environment.

 

 

Training & Development:

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and productivity.
  • Identify potential areas for employee growth and development.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Manage employee benefits programs and resolve any related queries.
  • Ensure salary and benefits administration aligns with organizational policies.

Reporting & HR Metrics:

  • Prepare HR-related reports for senior management and leadership.
  • Analyze HR data to track key metrics and inform decision-making processes.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Previous experience as a waitress in a busy environment is highly preferred
  • Degree in Human Resources and CHRP Certification
  • At least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Officer in a busy work environment
  • Proven experience in managing a busy HR department and handling a wide range of HR functions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels
  • Good understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
