DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
- Ensure smooth and efficient HR processes and practices, maintaining compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and complaints, providing effective resolutions.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and foster positive employee relations across the organization.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of candidates for various positions.
- Ensure new hires have an effective onboarding experience and provide necessary training and resources.
Performance Management:
- Oversee performance appraisal processes, helping managers set goals and providing feedback.
- Support the development and implementation of employee development programs.
Compliance and Policies:
- Monitor adherence to employment legislation and best practices.
- Update and enforce HR policies to ensure a fair and compliant work environment.
Training & Development:
- Coordinate and support the delivery of training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and productivity.
- Identify potential areas for employee growth and development.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Manage employee benefits programs and resolve any related queries.
- Ensure salary and benefits administration aligns with organizational policies.
Reporting & HR Metrics:
- Prepare HR-related reports for senior management and leadership.
- Analyze HR data to track key metrics and inform decision-making processes.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Previous experience as a waitress in a busy environment is highly preferred
- Degree in Human Resources and CHRP Certification
- At least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Officer in a busy work environment
- Proven experience in managing a busy HR department and handling a wide range of HR functions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels
- Good understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
