DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive new business opportunities and expand the client base within the leisure services sector.
  • Identify and pursue sales leads through proactive research, networking, and inbound inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring that key accounts are nurtured and potential clients are converted into long-term customers.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to craft tailored sales strategies and solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Present and demonstrate the company’s offerings, highlighting unique selling points to clients.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, as outlined by the business.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s services, competitive landscape, and industry developments.

Account Management & Client Retention

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing any issues or concerns and ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to ensure they are informed of new services, updates, and opportunities.
  • Monitor account performance, analysing sales data to identify trends, opportunities for upselling, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation of services and to optimize client satisfaction.

Negotiation & Deal Closing

  • Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring terms are favourable for both parties while securing profitable contracts.
  • Handle pricing discussions, proposals, and contract renewals in an effective and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate strong closing skills, moving leads through the sales cycle to secure deals quickly and efficiently.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and contract details in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management on progress toward targets and account performance.
  • Utilize data analytics to forecast sales, measure performance, and recommend adjustments to strategies where necessary.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with current campaigns and promotions.
  • Coordinate with operations and customer support teams to ensure smooth service delivery for new and existing clients.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss sales strategies, market insights, and industry trends.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in selling leisure services (hospitality, tourism, or related industries).
  • Previous experience in managing and growing client accounts, particularly within the hospitality or tourism sector, is highly advantageous.
  • Strong portfolio of achieved sales targets, client growth, and successful deal closures.
  • Deep understanding of sales strategies, including lead generation, closing, upselling, and account management.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively, balancing client needs with company goals to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
