DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely and efficiently drive the Director and passengers to various destinations within Nairobi and surrounding areas.
  • Handle long-distance travel and trips outside Nairobi, ensuring timely arrivals and return.
  • Maintain and operate the assigned vehicle, including 4WD models, ensuring it is in good condition.
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections, including oil checks, tire pressure, and fuel levels.
  • Report any mechanical issues or damages to the vehicle and ensure timely repairs.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety on the road.
  • Plan the most efficient routes, considering traffic conditions and weather.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable vehicle at all times.
  • Assist with loading and unloading luggage or packages as required.
  • Handle any additional driving-related tasks as requested by the employer.
  • Keep track of mileage and fuel consumption for company records.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Valid driver's license BCE with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Good knowledge of Nairobi roads and surrounding areas. Ability to navigate both urban and rural roads.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely arrivals.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with the employer and others on the road.
  • Strong attention to detail regarding vehicle maintenance and safety.
  • Trustworthy, professional, and discrete, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
