DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Property Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect the building and grounds to ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general handyman services.
Tenant Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for tenants, addressing any concerns, requests, or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure tenants adhere to the building's rules and regulations.
- Facilitate communication between tenants and management regarding building policies, events, and maintenance schedules.
Security & Safety:
- Report any safety or security issues to the property management team immediately.
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure that emergency exits, fire alarms, and other safety equipment are operational.
Cleaning & Housekeeping:
- Oversee the cleanliness of the common areas, including floor cleaning, waste removal, and occasional cleaning of windows and exterior surfaces.
- Ensure waste and recycling are disposed of properly and in compliance with local regulations.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain a log of maintenance activities, incidents, and tenant requests.
- Assist with managing inventory for supplies and materials required for maintenance and cleaning.
- Prepare and submit reports on the condition of the building, incidents, or tenant complaints to the property manager.
Emergency Response:
- Be on call for emergency situations (e.g., plumbing leaks, electrical failures, or other urgent matters).
- Respond quickly and efficiently to ensure tenant safety and minimize property damage.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Previous experience as a caretaker for high-end properties is preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with tenants and management.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Good physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
- Flexible schedule with availability for after-hours emergencies.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, cleaning, and maintaining equipment.
