DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Property Maintenance:

  • Regularly inspect the building and grounds to ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general handyman services.

Tenant Relations:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for tenants, addressing any concerns, requests, or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure tenants adhere to the building's rules and regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between tenants and management regarding building policies, events, and maintenance schedules.

Security & Safety:

  • Report any safety or security issues to the property management team immediately.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and ensure that emergency exits, fire alarms, and other safety equipment are operational.

Cleaning & Housekeeping:

  • Oversee the cleanliness of the common areas, including floor cleaning, waste removal, and occasional cleaning of windows and exterior surfaces.
  • Ensure waste and recycling are disposed of properly and in compliance with local regulations.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain a log of maintenance activities, incidents, and tenant requests.
  • Assist with managing inventory for supplies and materials required for maintenance and cleaning.
  • Prepare and submit reports on the condition of the building, incidents, or tenant complaints to the property manager.

Emergency Response:

  • Be on call for emergency situations (e.g., plumbing leaks, electrical failures, or other urgent matters).
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to ensure tenant safety and minimize property damage.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Previous experience as a caretaker for high-end properties is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with tenants and management.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Good physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for after-hours emergencies.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, cleaning, and maintaining equipment.
