DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Used Cooking Oil (UCO) Collection:
- Visit various food industry clients such as hotels, restaurants, canteens, lounges, and food processors to collect used cooking oil (UCO).
- Ensure that the collection process is carried out professionally and according to company standards.
Vendor Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify and prospect new vendors, generating leads from within the food industry.
- Approach potential clients and introduce UCO collection services, aiming to convert them into active, long-term clients.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Meet targets for new client acquisition, ensuring consistent and ongoing collection of UCO.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their continued engagement and satisfaction with the service.
- Facilitate communication with clients to arrange regular UCO collections.
Negotiation & Sales Process:
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients, present services, and negotiate terms for UCO collection.
- Follow up with potential clients until agreements are signed and services are implemented.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Ensure accurate documentation of the UCO collection process, including client agreements, collection logs, and any other necessary paperwork.
- Maintain organized records of interactions with clients and leads for future reference.
Target Achievement:
- Meet and exceed targets related to client acquisition and UCO collection volumes, adapting to varying market conditions.
- Strive for continuous improvement in performance and sales results.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Stay informed on industry trends, including new potential clients and competitors’ activities.
- Report on market conditions and suggest improvements to the sales strategy based on findings.
Travel and Field Visits:
- Travel to different parts of the town to identify potential clients, collect UCO, and foster strong business relationships.
- Be flexible and adaptable to travel as required to meet the needs of the business.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Certificate or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the field or customer-facing roles
- Good negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and handle objections effectively
- High level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Proactive in following up with leads, clients, and vendors
