DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Installation & Setup:

  • Install and configure electrical systems, equipment, and related components according to company standards and client requirements.
  • Ensure proper wiring and connections in compliance with electrical codes and specifications.

Maintenance & Repair:

  • Perform regular maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs or replacements in a timely and effective manner.
  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions to restore normal operations.

Testing & Inspections:

  • Conduct tests on electrical equipment to identify any faults or potential hazards.
  • Perform electrical inspections and ensure that all systems are operating according to safety regulations.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and routine maintenance work.
  • Provide regular reports on electrical system performance and any work performed to supervisors and management.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure that all electrical work adheres to the required safety standards, local regulations, and best practices.
  • Follow strict safety guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents and electrical hazards.

Collaboration:

  • Work with the engineering team to resolve electrical issues and improve system functionality.

Emergency Response:

  • Provide support during electrical emergencies, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.

Inventory Management:

  • Track inventory levels of electrical components and tools, ensuring availability for work needs.

Training & Support:

  • Provide guidance to junior technicians and assist in their development.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in electrical maintenance and installation
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Good understanding of electrical safety protocols and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality work
