DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation & Setup:
- Install and configure electrical systems, equipment, and related components according to company standards and client requirements.
- Ensure proper wiring and connections in compliance with electrical codes and specifications.
Maintenance & Repair:
- Perform regular maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Diagnose electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs or replacements in a timely and effective manner.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions to restore normal operations.
Testing & Inspections:
- Conduct tests on electrical equipment to identify any faults or potential hazards.
- Perform electrical inspections and ensure that all systems are operating according to safety regulations.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and routine maintenance work.
- Provide regular reports on electrical system performance and any work performed to supervisors and management.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure that all electrical work adheres to the required safety standards, local regulations, and best practices.
- Follow strict safety guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents and electrical hazards.
Collaboration:
- Work with the engineering team to resolve electrical issues and improve system functionality.
Emergency Response:
- Provide support during electrical emergencies, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
Inventory Management:
- Track inventory levels of electrical components and tools, ensuring availability for work needs.
Training & Support:
- Provide guidance to junior technicians and assist in their development.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in electrical maintenance and installation
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques
- Good understanding of electrical safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality work
