DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared with the highest level of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in managing kitchen inventory and stock, ensuring the proper use of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food production.
  • Follow all instructions from senior chefs and kitchen managers.
  • Adapt to different cooking styles and techniques as required.
  • Assist in the training and mentorship of junior kitchen staff as needed.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food items to minimize waste.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Catering.
  • At least 6 months to 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Passionate about cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen safety, food hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
