DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared with the highest level of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in managing kitchen inventory and stock, ensuring the proper use of ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food production.
- Follow all instructions from senior chefs and kitchen managers.
- Adapt to different cooking styles and techniques as required.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items to minimize waste.
- Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Catering.
- At least 6 months to 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
- Passionate about cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety, food hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
