DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee daily functionality and performance of the company website to ensure it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and secure
- Perform routine updates, backups, and maintenance tasks
- Monitor uptime and promptly address website crashes, broken links, or page errors
Content Management
- Upload and update content including blog posts, banners, product/service information, and multimedia
- Ensure all website content is accurate, aligned with brand guidelines, and optimized for SEO
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to schedule regular content refreshes
Campaign Integration & Digital Marketing Support
- Work closely with marketing teams to implement and track digital marketing campaigns on the website
- Set up landing pages, promotional banners, and campaign tracking tools
- Integrate social media, email marketing, and advertising tools into the site as needed
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with graphic designers for visuals and layout designs
- Coordinate with web developers or IT support for advanced technical requirements or fixes
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on content priorities and timelines
Technical Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve website bugs, formatting issues, or performance bottlenecks
- Handle minor technical tasks (e.g., plugin updates, redirects, layout adjustments)
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical support or developers
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and site audit platforms to track website performance
- Provide monthly reports on user traffic, bounce rates, and other key metrics
- Recommend improvements to boost user experience (UX), loading speed, and engagement
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Ensure on-page SEO best practices (e.g., meta tags, alt text, URL structure) are consistently applied
- Collaborate with content creators to target relevant keywords and topics
- Monitor and improve website rankings on search engines
Security and Compliance
- Ensure the website complies with data protection and privacy regulations
- Monitor for any suspicious activity and implement basic cybersecurity best practices
- Maintain updated SSL certificates and secure hosting environments
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Web Design, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing websites (WordPress, Joomla, or other CMS platforms is a plus)
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website hosting
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multitask and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Good eye for design and user experience (UX) principles
- Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing fundamentals is an added advantage
