DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Outbound Calling and Lead Generation

  • Initiate outbound calls to a list of prospective and existing customers with the goal of promoting products or services.
  • Build rapport with customers quickly to identify needs and match them with the right solutions.
  • Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns, referrals, or previous customer interactions.

Product Promotion and Sales Conversion

  • Clearly articulate the features, advantages, and benefits of the company’s offerings.
  • Handle customer objections tactfully and confidently to increase chances of a successful sale.
  • Upsell or cross-sell relevant products/services based on the customer’s profile and needs.

Customer Service and Relationship Building

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone or email with professionalism.
  • Maintain a high level of courtesy and empathy when dealing with all customer interactions.
  • Develop and nurture long-term customer relationships to promote loyalty and repeat business.

Data Entry and CRM Management

  • Accurately record all interactions, feedback, and sales outcomes in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Keep customer records up to date with contact information and communication history.

Sales Performance Monitoring

  • Meet and strive to exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs (e.g. number of calls, conversion rate).
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, training, and performance reviews.

Feedback and Market Intelligence

  • Gather insights from customer conversations about market trends, product performance, and potential improvements.
  • Share relevant customer feedback with the sales or product teams to improve offerings and strategy.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in a busy call center or telesales environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is an added advantage
