DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus, make food and beverage recommendations, and provide information about special dishes.
  • Accurately take customer orders and communicate them to the kitchen team.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor tables and promptly handle customer requests or concerns.
  • Set up tables before service and ensure the cleanliness of the dining area.
  • Clear tables and prepare them for the next guest.
  • Process customer payments, handle cash and POS systems, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Assist colleagues in maintaining smooth restaurant operations.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure all guests enjoy a safe and pleasant dining experience.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry as a waiter/waitress or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage services
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
