DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, make food and beverage recommendations, and provide information about special dishes.
- Accurately take customer orders and communicate them to the kitchen team.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor tables and promptly handle customer requests or concerns.
- Set up tables before service and ensure the cleanliness of the dining area.
- Clear tables and prepare them for the next guest.
- Process customer payments, handle cash and POS systems, and ensure accurate billing.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Assist colleagues in maintaining smooth restaurant operations.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure all guests enjoy a safe and pleasant dining experience.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry as a waiter/waitress or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage services
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
