WAITER/WAITRESS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus, make food and beverage recommendations, and provide information about special dishes.
Accurately take customer orders and communicate them to the kitchen team.
Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure quality standards are met.
Monitor tables and promptly handle customer requests or concerns.
Set up tables before service and ensure the cleanliness of the dining area.
Clear tables and prepare them for the next guest.
Process customer payments, handle cash and POS systems, and ensure accurate billing.
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Assist colleagues in maintaining smooth restaurant operations.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Ensure all guests enjoy a safe and pleasant dining experience.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry as a waiter/waitress or a similar role
Strong knowledge of food and beverage services
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
