DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and maintain the shop's floors, windows, counters, shelves, display cases, and other surfaces.
 - Ensure that the store's interior is consistently clean, tidy, and welcoming for customers and staff.
 - Regularly dust and sanitize display items and jewelry showcases to maintain a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
 - Clean and maintain washrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies (soap, toilet paper, etc.) and kept in a hygienic condition.
 - Empty trash bins and ensure the disposal of waste is done regularly and appropriately.
 - Prepare and serve tea, coffee, or other refreshments for customers and staff, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
 - Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen or tea preparation area, ensuring utensils, cups, and appliances are kept clean and organized.
 - Serve drinks to customers or staff during meetings, consultations, or throughout the day as needed.
 - Ensure that the tea/coffee service area is well-stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk, and snacks).
 - Greet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor when serving refreshments or assisting in the shop.
 - Provide a positive customer experience by ensuring that customers feel welcome and well-served during their time in the jewelry store.
 - Assist in offering tea/coffee to customers in waiting areas or as part of their shopping experience.
 - Assist the store team in running errands as needed, such as replenishing stock, helping with light organization, or preparing items for display.
 - Provide general assistance to the store staff, especially in busy periods, by ensuring that the work environment remains clean and conducive to sales.
 - Report any cleaning or maintenance issues to the supervisor for prompt action (e.g., broken fixtures, missing supplies).
 - Ensure that cleaning supplies, tea-making supplies, and other necessary materials are available and in good condition.
 - Assist in the organization and restocking of office supplies or kitchen items as needed.
 - Follow safety guidelines and hygiene standards while performing cleaning duties.
 - Ensure that all cleaning products and supplies are used safely and stored properly.
 - Be aware of safety hazards in the store, especially concerning cleaning products, and report any issues to the manager.
 - Assist with the occasional tidying of the store’s jewelry displays and other minor tasks that support the sales team.
 - Ensure the work area remains organized and that your cleaning duties do not interfere with customer-facing operations.
 
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma/Degree in any field
 - Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude
 - Detail-oriented and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness
 - Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while providing excellent customer service
 - Prior cleaning or hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential
