DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, audit, and analyze stock and sales data for all stores.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring the right quantity of products is available at all times.
  • Track physical stock and reconcile with system records, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Generate regular stock reports and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Assist in stocktaking exercises, including periodic and year-end inventories.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast stock needs and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Investigate and resolve stock variances, wastage, or shrinkage issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records in the inventory management system.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within stock control and inventory management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or supply chain operations is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
