DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Actively sell the company’s FMCG products to retail and HORECA clients in assigned territories.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and onboarding new clients.
- Promote product awareness and conduct product demonstrations where necessary.
Account Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Manage existing customer accounts by providing excellent after-sales service and addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely deliveries in coordination with logistics.
Sales Execution
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and contracts with customers within company guidelines.
- Track sales performance using reporting tools and submit regular reports to the Sales Manager.
Market Intelligence
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to help improve offerings and service delivery.
Strategy Implementation
- Assist in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies tailored to the retail and HORECA sectors.
- Recommend improvements to sales processes and approaches based on field experience.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably with a focus on the HORECA sector
- Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to consistently close sales and meet targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
