DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
- Set sales targets and KPIs for the sales team, ensuring measurable performance.
- Forecast sales revenue and prepare actionable reports for senior management.
Business Development & New Opportunities
- Identify potential clients, both B2B and B2C, and develop strategies to acquire them.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with new and existing clients.
- Explore untapped markets, including industrial, commercial, and residential segments.
- Collaborate with marketing to create lead generation campaigns and promotional strategies.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and problem resolution.
- Develop long-term partnerships by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Address escalations professionally, ensuring client concerns are resolved promptly.
Sales Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Assign territories and accounts, ensuring fair coverage and maximum revenue potential.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and set professional development plans.
- Motivate the team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with procurement, operations, and product teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing to launch campaigns and promotional events.
- Coordinate with finance to manage pricing strategies, credit terms, and invoicing.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings to represent the company.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Track sales performance using CRM tools and other reporting systems.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Identify areas for improvement in sales processes and implement solutions.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to achieve revenue targets.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or higher in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in electricals, electronics, or related industries
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel across the country as required
