DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales plans aligned with company goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Set sales targets and KPIs for the sales team, ensuring measurable performance.
  • Forecast sales revenue and prepare actionable reports for senior management.

 Business Development & New Opportunities

  • Identify potential clients, both B2B and B2C, and develop strategies to acquire them.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with new and existing clients.
  • Explore untapped markets, including industrial, commercial, and residential segments.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create lead generation campaigns and promotional strategies.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and problem resolution.
  • Develop long-term partnerships by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Address escalations professionally, ensuring client concerns are resolved promptly.

Sales Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Assign territories and accounts, ensuring fair coverage and maximum revenue potential.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and set professional development plans.
  • Motivate the team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with procurement, operations, and product teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with marketing to launch campaigns and promotional events.
  • Coordinate with finance to manage pricing strategies, credit terms, and invoicing.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings to represent the company.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Track sales performance using CRM tools and other reporting systems.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Identify areas for improvement in sales processes and implement solutions.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to achieve revenue targets.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or higher in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in electricals, electronics, or related industries
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel across the country as required
