DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively promote and sell roofing and construction materials to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, hardware stores, architects, and other stakeholders in the construction sector.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients, including site visits as necessary.
  • Negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery schedules in line with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups using CRM software.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall team objectives.
  • Provide timely feedback on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., logistics, finance, customer service) to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to generate leads and build brand awareness.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, specifically in construction and roofing materials
  • Strong understanding of the construction materials market and supply chain
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
