DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and Implement QC Plans:
- Create and enforce comprehensive project-specific quality control plans aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Establish inspection and testing protocols in coordination with the QA/QC Manager.
Inspection and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks of construction activities, focusing on marine structures including breakwaters, quay walls, dredging works, and reclamation zones.
- Ensure construction processes and workmanship meet predefined quality standards and technical specifications.
Material Compliance and Review:
- Review material submittals, test results, and certifications to ensure conformity with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quality-related matters.
Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and construction teams to proactively resolve quality-related issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support on quality assurance matters across the project lifecycle.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for internal and client review.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure compliance with international and local codes, standards (such as ISO 9001), and client-specific requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in marine construction projects (breakwaters, quay walls, dredging, reclamation)
- Proficiency in construction quality assurance practices and standards
- Familiarity with marine construction techniques, equipment, and materials
- Strong knowledge of applicable international and local codes and regulations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and rectify quality issues proactively
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced project environment
