DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Oversight
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
 - Ensure production output meets quality standards and adheres to company specifications.
 - Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to optimize productivity.
 - Maintain optimal use of materials, equipment, and manpower to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
 
Quality & Food Safety
- Ensure all production activities comply with local and international food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO 22000, etc.).
 - Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement and monitor food safety and quality control procedures.
 - Conduct regular inspections to ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are strictly followed.
 
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals.
 - Maintain clear communication with the team, addressing concerns and fostering a positive working environment.
 - Organize daily work schedules and delegate responsibilities appropriately.
 
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain production reports, including daily output, downtime, material usage, and workforce performance.
 - Report any equipment faults, production issues, or non-compliance incidents to the Production Manager.
 
Health & Safety
- Enforce adherence to health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment.
 - Ensure that all staff use protective gear and equipment as required.
 
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
 - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a food processing or manufacturing environment
 - Strong knowledge of food safety and quality control standards
 - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards
 - Ability to lead and motivate a team under pressure
 - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
 - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
