DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor Security Systems: Operate and monitor CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems to detect suspicious activities, theft, or security breaches.
- Conduct Security Inspections: Perform regular patrols and spot checks within the premises (warehouses, offices, production areas, etc.) to identify vulnerabilities, monitor employee behavior, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Investigate Incidents: Lead or support investigations into inventory discrepancies, suspected theft, fraud, or breaches of security. Compile detailed incident reports and recommend corrective measures.
- Audit Stock Movement: Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to monitor stock inflow and outflow, verify documentation, and identify anomalies in inventory handling.
- Enforce Policies & Procedures: Ensure compliance with internal loss prevention protocols and company policies across all departments. Educate employees on their role in minimizing loss and maintaining a secure work environment.
- Training & Awareness: Conduct regular training sessions and briefings for staff on safety, emergency procedures, and security awareness to foster a culture of vigilance.
- Coordinate with Security Personnel: Liaise with external security service providers and internal security staff to maintain optimal security coverage and response readiness.
- Maintain Security Records: Keep accurate records of security activities, audits, incidents, and access logs. Ensure all documentation is complete and updated regularly.
- Report Writing: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on loss prevention metrics, security incidents, and recommendations for improvement.
- Crisis Response: Act as the first point of contact during security emergencies or incidents, ensuring a swift and appropriate response to mitigate risks.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Business Management or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention technologies including CCTV systems and alarm monitoring
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Hipora training is highly desired
- Excellent observational, analytical, and reporting skills
