DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, sort, and wash linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
- Ensure all items are cleaned, pressed, folded, and stored properly.
- Handle laundry equipment and cleaning supplies with care, reporting any malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
- Monitor the usage of detergents and other cleaning agents to ensure cost efficiency and quality results.
- Maintain an organized and clean laundry room, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are adhered to.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and other laundry items.
- Perform basic repair work on damaged linens as required.
- Follow the hotel’s environmental policies, ensuring the responsible use of water and energy resources.
- Adhere to all company health, safety, and sanitation standards.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Housekeeping or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Laundry Attendant in a reputable hotel.
- Knowledge of laundry operations, including fabric care and equipment maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
