DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Concept Development & Execution
- Collaborate with the marketing and brand teams to understand campaign objectives and target audience needs.
- Translate briefs into visually impactful design concepts that align with brand identity and resonate with consumers.
- Create design mockups, storyboards, mood boards, and presentation decks to pitch and refine creative ideas.
Creation of Marketing & Brand Collateral
- Design marketing materials including flyers, brochures, POS displays, packaging, billboards, digital banners, and social media assets.
- Produce high-quality visuals for product launches, seasonal campaigns, internal communications, and promotions.
- Ensure all visual assets meet the specifications and quality standards for both print and digital formats.
Digital & Social Media Design
- Develop engaging content tailored for different digital platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and websites.
- Design templates and branded content for social media posts, stories, email newsletters, and online ads.
- Optimize visuals for mobile responsiveness and platform-specific dimensions.
Motion Graphics & Video Support
- Create basic animations, product highlight reels, and motion graphics for digital campaigns and product promotions.
- Support video production through editing raw footage, adding transitions, effects, and audio syncing using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.
- Collaborate with content creators or videographers to produce short-form content for social media and internal training.
Brand Consistency & Quality Control
- Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all visual materials to ensure consistency in tone, color palette, typography, and design elements.
- Review and proof artwork before final production or publishing, ensuring error-free output.
- Regularly update and manage the digital asset library including icons, templates, logos, and imagery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to understand customer insights and feedback, adapting design as needed.
- Attend marketing and strategy meetings to stay aligned on business goals and product updates.
- Coordinate with external vendors, printers, and media partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of physical and digital assets.
Continuous Learning & Innovation
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices in FMCG branding and digital media.
- Bring fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions and contribute to the ongoing creative evolution of the brand.
- Explore and recommend new formats, design tools, and creative techniques to enhance content impact.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field
- 2–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in an FMCG or similarly fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects and Premiere Pro a plus)
- Strong portfolio showcasing design versatility and creativity
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic video editing is an added advantage
