DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take full ownership of the visual design process from concept development through final execution for both print and digital materials
- Interpret creative briefs, brand guidelines, and marketing objectives, translating them into visually compelling and effective design solutions
- Design a wide range of materials including brochures, flyers, posters, roll-up banners, billboards, packaging, corporate profiles, reports, presentations, and social media creatives
- Develop and maintain brand identities, including logo design, typography systems, color palettes, layout standards, and comprehensive branding guidelines
- Create clear, engaging layouts and storyboards for campaigns, presentations, and promotional materials
- Prepare print-ready artwork by correctly setting up files with proper bleeds, trims, resolutions, color modes (CMYK/RGB), and export settings
- Work closely with printing vendors to ensure accurate reproduction of designs, including color matching, calibration, proofing, and press checks when required
- Apply advanced typography principles to ensure readability, hierarchy, consistency, and visual balance across all designs
- Retouch, edit, and manipulate images to professional standards using Photoshop and related tools
- Design for multiple formats and platforms while maintaining visual consistency and brand integrity
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines and quality expectations
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, production) to refine concepts and respond to feedback constructively
- Maintain a well-organized digital archive of all design files, assets, fonts, and templates
- Review final outputs thoroughly to eliminate errors before production or publication
- Support web and digital initiatives by designing web layouts, banners, and UI elements; apply basic HTML and CSS knowledge where applicable
- Continuously research and stay up to date with current design trends, software updates, printing technologies, and industry best practices
- Provide creative input and visual recommendations to enhance campaigns, branding, and overall communication effectiveness
- Uphold high standards of creativity, accuracy, and professionalism in all design work
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree (or higher) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related creative field
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in graphic design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of creative projects (print and digital)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of QuarkXPress is an added advantage
- Excellent typography skills, including font selection, layout, logo creation, and branding
- Solid understanding of print production processes, including digital printing, press printing, and color management
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web design principles
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
