DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and improvement of existing food products, focusing on quality, taste, and shelf-life.
 - Conduct experiments and trials to test new formulations and processing methods.
 - Implement and monitor preservation methods to extend product shelf-life and maintain quality.
 - Troubleshoot processing issues and recommend solutions.
 - Conduct quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
 - Assist in the implementation of food safety audits.
 - Research new ingredients, processing techniques, and packaging materials.
 - Maintain detailed records of experiments, formulations, and processing procedures.
 - Prepare reports on product development, quality control, and food safety activities.
 
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
 - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the food industry
 - Strong understanding of food processing techniques and preservation methods
 - Familiarity with food safety compliance and quality control procedures
