DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Generation & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and approach potential clients including interior designers, architects, contractors, real estate developers, showrooms, and direct consumers.
  • Visit client sites or offices to pitch chandelier lighting solutions based on space, design preferences, and budget.
  • Prepare and present detailed quotations, technical specifications, and product brochures to decision-makers.

Product Demonstration & Technical Selling

  • Demonstrate features and benefits of different chandelier models, including lighting capacity, design, installation process, and energy efficiency.
  • Offer expert advice to customers on product selection based on space aesthetics and electrical compatibility.
  • Assist clients with understanding warranty terms, maintenance requirements, and after-sales service.

Territory Development

  • Plan and execute weekly field visits across the assigned region to ensure strong market coverage.
  • Build and grow a network of retail partners, electricians, wholesalers, and influencers who can refer or sell the company’s chandelier products.
  • Map out commercial and residential development projects in the region to position chandelier products early in construction stages.

Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to implement region-specific campaigns, in-store promotions, site activations, and product displays.
  • Distribute marketing materials (catalogues, flyers, sample swatches) to prospective clients and partners.
  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events to promote brand visibility.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Follow up with clients regularly for feedback, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Resolve client concerns promptly and escalate complex technical issues to the support team.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions using CRM tools or sales trackers.

Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor competitor pricing, product offerings, and promotional activities within the chandelier and lighting space.
  • Gather insights on customer preferences, emerging design trends, and market gaps.
  • Prepare weekly market intelligence reports for management to guide product and pricing strategy.

Sales Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain updated sales pipeline reports, tracking inquiries, conversions, and closed deals.
  • Submit daily and weekly activity reports to the Sales Manager, detailing client visits, meetings held, and follow-ups scheduled.
  • Ensure all customer documentation, such as invoices, delivery notes, and contracts, are accurately processed and filed.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or any other relevant technical qualification.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the lighting, electrical, or interior decor industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Sound technical knowledge of chandelier lighting systems is a must.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
