DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Electrical System Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment within the factory.
 - Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical circuits, machines, and systems.
 - Ensure the electrical infrastructure is operating safely and in compliance with regulatory standards.
 
Repairs and Troubleshooting:
- Identify, analyze, and rectify electrical faults in production machines and other factory equipment.
 - Repair electrical and electronic components such as motors, wiring, transformers, and control panels.
 
System Installation:
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and machinery as required by the factory.
 - Collaborate with the engineering team on electrical system upgrades.
 
Preventative Maintenance:
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for electrical systems to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
 - Conduct periodic inspections and test electrical systems for reliability.
 
Safety Compliance:
- Follow strict safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the equipment.
 - Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with the National Electric Code (NEC) and relevant safety standards.
 
Record Keeping:
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and replacement parts used.
 - Report on the condition of electrical systems and suggest improvements.
 
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to ensure timely resolution of electrical issues.
 - Report any major issues to the supervisor or manager and recommend solutions for improving electrical system performance.
 
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
 - At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferably plastics or street manufacturing industries)
 - Proficient in troubleshooting electrical faults, maintenance, and repairs of industrial machinery
 - Hands-on experience with motors, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), transformers, wiring systems, and control panels
 - Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance practices
