DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Create and optimize databases using MySQL and MariaDB, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for smooth communication between the backend and front-end systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards.
  • Implement data storage solutions and integrate third-party services when needed.
  • Perform database design and query optimization for better performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in back-end development
  • Proficiency in js and Express.js.
  • Strong experience with MySQL and MariaDB databases
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and API design
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
