DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Identify, approach, and onboard new clients including distributors, bars, restaurants, and retail outlets.
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and trading terms within company guidelines.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports.
Market Development & Coverage
- Ensure product availability and visibility across all target outlets.
- Implement and monitor route plans to ensure optimal market coverage.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess customer needs and competitor activities.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
- Handle customer complaints and provide timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Organize trade promotions, product tastings, and brand activations in collaboration with marketing teams.
Distribution & Merchandising
- Work closely with distribution partners to ensure timely product delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with logistics to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure all products are properly displayed and branded according to company merchandising standards.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and market intelligence reports.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company policies related to alcohol sales and promotion.
- Provide feedback to management on pricing, competitors, and consumer trends.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field.
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- 2–3 years of proven experience in alcohol sales, beverage distribution, or FMCG sales
- Strong understanding of the Kenya (Maua, Embu) or Nairobi market dynamics
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
