DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare and post journal entries, manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Tally for daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Work closely with other departments to support financial processes and address inquiries.
- Provide financial insights to management and contribute to strategic decision-making.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and CPA
- 2-4 years of experience in an accounting role within a busy company environment.
- Proven experience in performing general accounting duties
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Tally
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
