DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure all inventory is properly accounted for.
  • Monitor and track stock levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify discrepancies and take corrective actions to resolve them.
  • Implement stock control procedures and practices to ensure effective inventory management.
  • Assist in the ordering and receiving of stock, ensuring proper storage conditions.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Track stock usage, monitor waste, and contribute ideas for reducing losses.
  • Coordinate stock deliveries and ensure proper documentation for all stock-related activities.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports to the management team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards in stock handling and storage.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role, ideally within the food and beverage industry
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in stock
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with other teams
