DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure all inventory is properly accounted for.
- Monitor and track stock levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Identify discrepancies and take corrective actions to resolve them.
- Implement stock control procedures and practices to ensure effective inventory management.
- Assist in the ordering and receiving of stock, ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Track stock usage, monitor waste, and contribute ideas for reducing losses.
- Coordinate stock deliveries and ensure proper documentation for all stock-related activities.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to the management team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards in stock handling and storage.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role, ideally within the food and beverage industry
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in stock
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using inventory management software
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with other teams
