DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Administration and Strategy:

  • Lead the HR function by managing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Stay up to date with HR trends and labor laws to ensure the company complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal HR systems that drive performance, productivity, and employee engagement.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Oversee the full recruitment process, from creating job descriptions and posting job ads to conducting interviews and offering roles.
  • Work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs, and deliver high-quality talent to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding for new employees by organizing induction programs, introducing them to the company culture, and ensuring they have the tools needed to succeed in their role.

Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and providing advice on workplace policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive work culture by addressing any issues related to workplace bullying, harassment, or discrimination swiftly and confidentially.
  • Promote open communication between employees and management to resolve grievances or disputes effectively.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems that encourage employee growth and align with company goals.
  • Support managers in providing regular performance feedback, setting objectives, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Provide guidance on employee development opportunities and help employees achieve their career growth within the organization.

Training and Development:

  • Assess the training needs of the workforce and coordinate internal and external training sessions to support skill development.
  • Develop and deliver leadership and soft skills training programs to foster employee development and enhance job satisfaction.
  • Track training outcomes and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer payroll and benefits programs, ensuring all compensation-related issues are handled in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide employees with information on benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Conduct compensation analysis and make recommendations to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, safety regulations, and HR policies, mitigating risks to the organization.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy laws.
  • Provide reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment outcomes, to the management team.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and practices
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage all HR functions
  • Team management experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, and support HR team members
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities, with a firm stance on HR-related issues
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
